Girls Who Code is “a national non-profit organization leading the movement to inspire, educate, and equip girls with computing skills to pursue 21st-century opportunities. Girls Who Code Clubs are FREE programs for 3rd-5th and 6th-12th grade girls to join our sisterhood of supportive peers and role models, and use computer science to change the world. Clubs can be hosted in schools, universities, libraries, community centers, faith-based organizations, or other nonprofits.”

“In addition to learning Scratch, Club members can also learn Python, JavaScript, Thunkable and Apple’s programming language Swift, which gives the girls more tools when building their culminating project.  The project allows them to address a real world issue they care about. Club girls also learn about inspiring role models in various fields through our Women in Tech Spotlights.”
