The Mission of BLASS is to establish and deliver an innovative 24/7  hybrid STEM education that prepares students for college and careers. This Mission is accomplished by incorporating already proven track records in academic research and STEM outreach programs, as well as the established strong faculty and infrastructural support at various U.S. and Nigerian universities and Organizations.

The Vision of BLASS is to implement STEM-based affordable modern high schools/secondary schools (grades 9-12 or JSS3/SSS1 to SSS3) without transportation and financial barriers, while ensuring attainment of undergraduate and graduate degrees and workforce certifications through collaborations with higher education institutions in The United States of America and Nigeria, as well as industries and corporations.

Rationale for BLASS Strengthening K-12 STEM education is a critical component of keeping our children competitive in the global economy. The traditional high school system has not been effective in preparing students for entry into the work force– Several logistical challenges still exist, such as rigid curriculum, seat-time requirements and geographical distance that have led to low enrollments, retention, continuity, and sustainability.

BLASS courses are also powered by AI, BLASS Competency-Based, and Open Education instructional design models. BLASS Nigerian Secondary School curriculum is hosted by BLASS on its synchronous intuitive online platform. BLASS College-prep and Career-readiness Secondary School in Nigeria is licensed and accredited in Kaduna State and Ogun State.
