Is BLSC a Tutoring Center? Though BLSC provides tutoring to its members, this is just one of its several services. This is what sets BLSC apart from other educational service providers.

We have applied for the transcript, but school is on break for now. In the absence of this what do we do? Please send copies of your report cards (from middle and high school) to current date. When you receive the hard copy of the official transcript, please contact us with the information. You can also inform the school to E-mail the official transcript to BLASS College- and Career-prep Secondary School at blass@blendedlearningcenter.com

Regarding the monthly fees, can the payment be installments as we are also going to pay for the present school at the moment. You can pay two installments for the monthly fees. If you are still enrolled in your current school, please send us the list of courses/subject. We will advise you on what courses to take with BLASS based on our assessment of the report cards and courses you will take with the current school. BLASS courses are very rigorous and we do not want to overwhelm our students, especially for the first semester.

We want to know how BLASS model works, before we can enroll fully.
BLASS requires a year-long commitment which spans from September 16 to June 15 each year. Summer sessions begin June 16 each year through September 14. During the summer students participate in internships, study abroad, and field  trips to different countries. Accepted applicants will be required to participate in online class sessions and on-campus face to face classes; both components will be held on days and times that are agreed to be mutually convenient for the students, instructors, and teaching assistants. On days when the campus is closed classes will still continue through online sessions, including Saturday sessions to be scheduled in tandem with both school and University calendars.  Please see the product page of BLASS schools that further explains the model in the section “BLASS Student Requirements.”

So we want to start the Friday and Saturday online classes for now.  If that is when your child is available then BLASS will schedule his/her course lectures and live online sessions on these days. But your child will still be responsible for completing other online tasks for the course at his/her own time.
